Hey Kids! Meet Ski! Hes the shop foreman at my work and a good buddy of mine too! Ski and i threw the lil 125cc in the dyno for a quick spin today.....

6.67hp and 3.67ft lbs. of torque!

memories... on the corner of my mind....

i get a little warm and fuzzy anytime i see one of these Monte Carlos.... My first car was a white '75 that i paid 700bones for. I miss her so. This one was a '73 and just as clean as mine was.... but the guy wanted 4k for it! ah well... one day i'll have her again.

Graveyard Records

so the running joke that i've never been able to figure out is "kiss a woman where it stinks.... take her to cudahy." it's not that i don't understand the joke, I just don't understand how a city that has the overwhelming smell from Patrick Cudahy bacon factory can be called stinky. personally, I'd love to walk out the front door and smell smoked applewood bacon, but whatever...

right off Packard Ave. in Cudahy, there's a little joint i've always meant to stop off at for a long time called Graveyard Record. i was riding around saturday and stopped in to check the place out. If you are a horror movie/zombie/action figure nerd, this is your store. every single wall of this place is covered in McFarlane toys, movie memorabilia, movies, music... if it has frankenstein on it, he's probably got it.

here's his display in the back room: all costumes and props used in the new Rob Zombie version of Halloween. me, I'll stick to my Jamie Lee Curtis, but i still thought this was cool.

better than a fish fry....

I ususally try to go to a fish fry on friday evenings, but last nite i just wasnt feeling it and decided to cook up the last two tamales in the fridge instead. I got a call from eugene saying him and his buddy jeremiah were up at warrens shop playing swap meet. I rode over to see them and sell jeremiah a fuel tank when i spotted a roller project on the lift with a nice set of forks that caught my eye.... warren was using it in a trade and didnt care what length tubes went with it, so i offered a little swap, and wa-lah!

4 over tubes! Thanks Warren! and thanks Cody and Bacon for helping with the worlds fastest fork swap. The ride is silly fun- tons of ground clearance, but youre bouncing around up there in space trying to utilize it.
