so yesterday would have been my grandpa's 85th birthday.... one of the most amazing old guys ever. he brought his whole family over (along with a few other families) in a boat from Cuba when my mom was 8. He used to show us all up when we went fishing.... while we were using rod and reels, he would have fishing line on a big spool and would pull the fish in bare-handed. i miss him.

today the music world lost another pioneer. RIP Bo Diddley.
