so i brushed Queens of the Stone Age off a long time ago as just another side project for Dave Grohl, and i realized as of late that i am sadly mistaken. Kelly told me listen to "Songs for the Deaf" and i have to say, that album is amazing! if you like Kyuss or Fu, you will dig this album!

man, they've been through town twice in the last couple months and i've missed them both times. they are a riot! new album... ehh... but the old ones kick ass.
