got to see a really good show Friday nite with my buddy Rikk at the Brew Haus in Bay View. Burning Sons, Direct Hit, Call Me Lightning, and GET RAD. I've heard of GET RAD forever but had no clue what to expect having never heard their music. Talk about a great show! The band feeds off the audience and the audience goes nuts when these guys go on stage! think hardcore punk with a sense of humor. With lyrics like “Crack is whack but pizza’s good" and song titles like "My Friends Fucking Rule", they don't take themselves too seriously and it makes for a great time. If you aren't from Milwaukee, then it might be hard to catch them in concert, but give em a listen. If they come around your area, don't miss em!
