seriously?

so, don't mistake this for political commentary... more of a social observation. so i go to check my email this morning and of course all the advertisers are there, along with the news. first thing that catches my eye... a picture of the first lady. what's the article about? HER SHOES and how they are a "fashion flub". seriously? really? our nation is financially in the toilet, we're still fighting a war that we won't win... and the front page article is about the presidents wife wearing ugly shoes? anybody else see something wrong with this? why aren't we worried about what her husband is doing, what policies are being put in place, how we're gonna get this country back on our feet? why? cause we're too busy voting on our favorite singer for American Idol. 58% voter turnout at the last election?!?! and that's the highest it's been in ages!?!?! Cuba has a nearly 100% voter turnout... and the only canidate on the ballot is FIDEL!!!! other countries would KILL to be able to vote for their leaders, and we shove it off like it's a chore to get off our asses and get to the polls. who gives a crap what dog obama is planning on getting! or if he's still smoking or not! or if he's replacing the white house bowling alley with a basketball court! i forget who first used the term, but it's perfect.... the stupification of our country. distract the population with shoes, and dogs, and the presidents kid's and you can do whatever the hell you want while everyone is looking the other way. don't get me wrong, this isn't me being critical of the current administration.... i'm very optimistic and hopeful everything gets better.... but c'mon people, wake up. if you can't realize that the mainstream media is feeding you whatever dribble they want, then sit back down on your couch with your Guitar Hero 3 and shut your mouth.

allright. sorry. i had my politics class last nite and i got a bit fired up and i just really had to get that off my chest. if you understand what i'm saying, check this out for a change: http://www.infowars.com/
i promise, more chopper stuff soon. and food. thanks for hanging in there.

While a wee bit insane, Alex Jones may be closer to the mark than any of us care to admit. Down with the Bilderberg! Check out Wallstreetpro2 on youtube, though you most likely have already.

My friend you hit the nail on the head.I am hopeful too but is this Obama mania is getting little out of control.Let's scare you to death or into deep depression and then promote something so hard you believe everything.Just a thought.

Yeah. It's another page out of the Bush play book, but perpetrated by Obama. I voted for the nigga and I still believe in him, but this transfer of wealth bullshit from the working class to the rich Wall St. assholes that started with that dickhead Bush has got to stop.

Meet the new boss...who's going to be the same as the old boss and get kicked on his ass onto Pennsylvania Av. if he wants to continue playing fiddle to the oligarchs.

I'm raining on the parade, but it's not like any of this is new. This is the same old shitty status quo that's been around since the beginning.

Uninformed people shouldn't vote. I'm glad that the turnout is low, and wish it was lower. Half the people who actually did vote had no idea about what they were actually voting for... on both sides. If you think its a popularity contest or you like someone because of how they look or vague promises of 'change' or because you think 'the terrorists' will kill us all if candidate x gets elected, for the love of god, don't vote because it just dilutes the people who actually cares votes.

And yeah, the media is making us more retarded daily, but at least we have the internet. If this was 30 years ago, we would only have access to info via the TV news.
