3 from the weekend.

"Mean" Eugene, Rob "You got a friend in metal" Hulz, Johnny Ratchet, and Joe all rode up late in the day from Chicago. They intended to get to the Cheaters car show in time, but to no avail. They did however make motorhead show, unlike my ass, that had a few too many before leaving the house. Either way gentlemen, it was nice to see you again, Joe it was nice to meet you. I hope next time we will actually get to do some riding!
The coolest bike at the whole Cheaters show. for all you guys out there that are queer for original bates seat, peach johnson confirmed, they're both authentic.

And last but not least, Kevo got his thumb tattooed. He wants to make sure that when he gives the thumbs up to the passing people on their baggers, they know just how he feels about the factory. Tattoo by Peach Johnson.

So there we have it. Best car show of the year, and i get one snap of a knucklehead. all photos taken on cameraphone, hence the garbage quality. Anyone got a decent digital they want to get rid of cheap? Let me know. i could use one. otherwise you guys can live with the crappy phone pictures.

so it's the 40year anniversary of the most infamous motorcycle movie in the world. rumor has it hopper and fonda are gonna do the entire ride again in commemoration of it. wonder if they'll be doing a 40year commemorative acid trip in a cemetery in New Orleans as well....

Either way, Point Brewery has been putting on a fish fry and a series of movies on the big screen for free down by the lakefront here in MKE and tonite they are putting on Easyrider. this is the first friday nite i don't have to spend jocking subs so i am totally going! unfortunately i already missed lebowski and pulp fiction, but at least i can catch Night of the Living Dead.... on a side note, Les Paul's funeral procession left today from the Milwaukee Art Museum which is right next to where this evenings movie will be held. odd, i know, but just thought it was interesting.

so Kevo figures if he's gonna hang out in MKE for a while, a job wouldn't hurt. so he meets this mexican guy that has owned a barber shop in town for over 50years and the guy pretty well hires him on the spot. The name of the place is Puentes. I rode with him to work the other day and it's a pretty cool little place! Rockerbox pictures

unfortunately i never get to rockerbox at a reasonanble time. I'm usually working and get there after 5pm so most of the good stuff is gone. but here's what was there by the time we showed up. it was 2 blocks away from my house so we just grabbed a couple cold ones and walked up there.
