so mr. rogers got into town yesterday! wing nite then beers at the house! Peach "fuzz" Johnson even decided to join in on the debauchery! We had to take these two to The Polish Falcon cause there was no whiskey at la casa!

so mr. rogers will be flying into town tomorrow and i'm stoked to see his happy ass again! don't know how much of him i'll get to see as he's got some, uh, business to attend to, but i'm sure it will be a blast! (and no, that's not the tattoo i'm putting on his arm at the bottom...that would be his work. )

feeling odd lately. like something is wrong, but i don't know what. "in a funk" for lack of better words. oh well, enjoy.

so while its frigid outside, i figured i would put up some memories of the warmer times. Steve and i were bored one afternoon last summer and decided we should go for a putt. The Dooosh called up and we decided to meet up at a bar and head out to Kansasville to the Wildlife Refuge (thanks for the correction there, bunny). there is no cooler bar than the Wildlife Refuge. it's an old brothel (thanks again) that had the first floor converted into a bar. couches, pool tables, crazy old furniture from the 70s. the deck on the side of the house has big divits from people doing burnouts after burning out. totally cool place. enjoy.

ho. lee. crap. so we had the brilliant idea of starting our evening off with a couple of 40z before leaving the house. that was the begining of the end. Mother Orchis opened followed by Test-Site, both of whom kickass! Hammered blew some brains out with some heavy heavy thrash that was plain crazy! i didn't remember these guys being that loud or that good! And finally the Speedfreaks took to the stage and kicked some teeth in! unfortunately, as you might be able to tell in the pics, we had way too many drinks and apparently (i think...) we closed the bar. so wasted i didn't get any pics of the speedfreaks but oh well, if you weren't there, you missed it anyway. follow the links at the bottom if you want to hear some music from these guys!
